All I want is to know the rules we’re playing under. If you keep changing them to suit you, I don’t see the point in pretending in having any competition. Keep your little awards and medals, they are meaningless.

Maybe we should just assume our opponents are always cheating, our league is always going to cover this up, and nobody really cares one way or the other, as long as it doesn’t happen very often, or to them directly or personally, or otherwise “disrupts the nice little meeting we’re having”.

Maybe we’ll all just be playing what are effectively glorified pick-up games, against liars and cheats, who enjoy having friendly little meetings with each other at the start and end of the season.

I won’t be congratulating you or shaking your hand at the end of the game. You should understand why.
